Gen 2:16:17:"And the Lord Commanded the Man saying,Of every tree of the Garden thou mayest freely eat:But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil thou shall not eat of it for in the day that you eat thereof You shall surely die.

There are many People who View the Bibles account of Adam and Eve's choice to eat from the forbidden tree as an ancient fable about an apple tree,a snake,a woman and a man but the account was very real and there is a deeper meaning to what happened in the Garden of Eden.

Spiritually, A tree represents Wisdom,Life or Knowledge:
Prov 3:18:"She(Wisdom) is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her:and happy is everyone that retains her.
Prov 11:30:"The Fruit of the righteous(The wise)is a tree of life and he that wins souls is wise"
Spiritually speaking,a tree represents wisdom or life.That is why many of the world's religions e.g.Buddhism claim that enlightenment is attained from trees.Also,the chief god in the Norse Pagan Religion,Odin,Hung on a tree for 9 days and 9 nights in order to learn the wisdom that would give him power in the nine worlds.Trees are also revered by alchemists as "objects of transformation":It was the tree of knowledge of good and evil that changed Adam and Eve from righteous beings to sinners(i.e made them conscious of themselves instead of their maker).Trees are also known for their life enhancing capabilities(healing.)i.e:the bark and leaves of trees are used to heal many ailments:The tree of life transmits an eternal life of Righteousness.The forbidden tree transmits a temporal life of sin.

The Tree of Life:
John 6:33:"For the bread of God is He which comes down from heaven and gives life unto the
world.
John 6:35:"And Jesus said to them:I am the bread of life,He that comes to me shall never
hunger,and he that believes in me shall never thirst.
Gen 3:24:So He drove out the man and he placed at the east of the garden Cherubims and a
flaming sword which turned every way to keep the way of the tree of life
Gen 2:10:"And out of the ground(Of Eden) made the Lord to grow every tree that is pleasant to the eyes and good for Food:The tree of life also in the Midst of the garden and the tree of knowledge of good and evil."

The tree of life represents The Wisdom of God(1 Cor 1:24),The wisdom that emanates From Christ:The Wisdom that Pervades(Is in the Midst of) God's Paradise(Eden).It is the Tree of Life that offers us the right to have a divine & immortal nature(2 Pet 1:4)

It is the Mind that governs all those who have been born of Christ's Spirit and represents: The Knowledge of the things of God which comes when We abide in God and He abides in Us(John15:7)This knowledge can only be gotten when we are elevated to become divine beings by God's Spirit and continually abide in His presence(above), And Jesus,The Flaming Word of God (He is called the flaming sword because he consumes our mortallity and our rebellious natures with his fiery Judgement)is the Custodian of this Wisdom(Gen 3:24,Rev 22:14) As we Partake of this wisdom, we become trees of Life that bear its fruit (Gal 5:22):

Isa 61:3:"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the
oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might
be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. "
Prov 11:30:"The Fruit of the righteous is a "tree of life" and he that wins souls is wise"
James 3:17:"But the Wisdom that is from "above"(above means it Comes from God John 8:23)is first peaceable,gentle..."

The Bible says God made man from the "dust"of the earth(below) and breathed into His nostrils the breath of Life and Man "Became"a living soul(Gen 2:7).The "Dust"implies that
man was not divine:He was naturally an earthly and carnal Beast(1 Cor 15:47-48) who had no life(breath)within.But God in His Love for Man breathed Into the Man's "nostrils"The
breath of life(Divine Spark,Holy Spirit)and this Breath Transformed the man into "a living soul".That is why the Bible says the Man became a living soul after the Holy Spirit was
breathed into Him.He was transformed into a living soul that reflected the breath of God
that gave Him life.(Gen 1:26)

If You read on (Gen 2:15)You would realize that the Bible says that God took the man and
put Him into the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it.As You read earlier,God transformed
the earthly man into a Divine being with His Breath.But He still had to take the man from
the earth he was taken from and put Him into His heavenly Garden:It is one thing for God to
live in You and another thing for God to refine you in order to be qualified to live in his presence(Garden,Reality,world):We can only bear godly fruit when we have an 'Edenic Heart'.Our base and carnal hearts(ground,nature Adam was taken from) always produces weeds(thorns and thistles Gen 3:18,Heb 6:7-8)God has to take away the stony and unrefined heart of our adamic nature and change it into a good(Edenic,heavenly)heart before it would be able to bear godly fruit and that is why Jesus claimed that new wine should not be put into old Bottles(Luke 5:38):The Spirit of God cannot live in an unregenerated heart and that is why Adam and Eve were sent out of God's garden after they sinned.

After putting the man into His Garden, He gave Man the authority to maintain the garden
and made it clear to the man that he was free to eat of "every"tree of the garden: In order
for Us to abide in God's Presence He must abide in us and God can only continually abide in
us if we keep on eating(Having fellowship)With His Spirit(The Tree of life)and every
creation that His Spirit abides in(The other trees of the Garden:Notice that these "trees"
came from the Ground of the Garden not the ground of the earth Adam came from) and when we
do this we will see the Mysteries of the Divine: We are sustained by "eating" the fruit of
these trees(Gal 5:22,Prov 11:30) and We can only be assured of eternal Life if We
continually feed on these "Trees"(John 6:35) and the only way we can have access to these
"trees" is by letting God indwell us(Col 1:27,John 14:23):That is why when Adam and Eve
rejected The tree of Life(Holy Spirit Within),and chose the forbidden Tree they were
banished from God's presence.Notice that even after they disobeyed and changed they were
still in God's Garden.God Himself had to Banish them because of their imperfect and fallen state.

The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil:
Prov 4:17:"For they eat the bread of wickedness,and drink the wine of wickedness."

The tree of knowledge of good and evil represents the knowledge of self:The Mind that governs Fallen Humanity(Unrepentant sinners).It is The Beastly & carnal knowledge & intelligence that shows man who He is and what he can do without His maker.It is this tree that offers us the 'freedom' to live out a life of rebellion against God & his commands.

The Serpent is the Custodian of this knowledge that is why he is the one who offered it to Eve(Gen 3:4-5)& when we eat of this knowledge we become trees of knowledge of good and evil and anyone that partakes of our fruit becomes carnal,beastly,wicked and base.

We saw earlier that Man is an earthly and Carnal Beast who God elevated to become a divine
being with His breath.The serpent represents the Devil:The beastly intelligence &
wisdom.When Adam and Eve abode in God,His indwelling Spirit covered the fact that they were base and dusty animals from them.That is why they were unconscious of their nakedness(their carnal nature)and were only conscious of their Maker and the reality that they lived
in(Eden Gen 2:25)

God told man he was free to eat of every tree of the garden:"Every" means without
exception:Every tree(Every creation that had the breath of the Tree of life)was good for
food.He then further stated:"But of the Tree of knowledge of good and evil You shall not eat of it for in the day that You eat You will "surely die":There are many people who believe that the tree of knowledge of good and evil was present in the "Midst" of the garden of God
because of what the Bible says in Gen 2:10 and Gen 3:3 but with a careful examination of
Scripture You would realize this is not the case.

Gen 2:10:"And out of the ground(Of Eden) made the Lord to grow every tree that is pleasant to the eyes and good for Food:"The tree of life also in the Midst of the garden" and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Rev 22:14:"Blessed are they that keep His commandments that they may have right to the tree
of life which is in the Midst of the Paradise of God."
Rev 2:7:"He that has an ear let Him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches.To Him that
overcomes will i give to eat of the tree of life which is in the Midst of the Paradise of God.

The Bible is clear:The tree Of Life is the tree in the Midst of God's Garden.If You read Genesis 2:10 Carefully,You would notice that the Bible doesn't say the tree of knowledge and good and evil was in the Midst of God's Garden but says:"The tree of life also in the Midst of the garden" and the tree of
knowledge of good and evil.":You might want to ask: Is the Word of God trying to imply that the tree of knowledge of good and evil was present in the Garden when it says:"and the tree of knowledge and good and evil?The answer to that question is no.It is simply trying to let You know that God gave two choices to Adam and Eve in the Garden:The choice to be sustained by Him and remain in His garden and the choice to return to the ground he was taken and be animated by the Beastly intelligence(The serpent.)

You might also want to ask:Why does Eve tell the serpent in Gen 3:3 Thus:"But of the fruit of the tree which is in Midst of the Garden,God has said You shall not eat of it or touch it lest You die"?

The answer to this is simple:Satan(The Carnal Mind) showed the woman another reality, another Garden:another world view:He showed her a world without God:He showed her who she was without the divine breath and made her to understand where she was taken from.He also made her understand that the only way she could partake of this life was to be animated by His Spirit(breath,Tree Gen 3:4) which pervaded the "dusty world".

He made her think that the only way to truly become god was by discovering the carnal self not relying on the Divine  breath and that God was hiding who she really was from her because He didn't want her to realize this "god nature".

Gen 3:6:"And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to
the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did
eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat."

James 3:15:"This Wisdom descends not from above but is earthly,sensual,Devilish."

Matt 4:8-9:"Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

When the serpent opened her understanding to her carnal nature she started to see things in a new way:She stopped seeing the trees of God as being pleasant and started to see the forbidden tree as being desirable and pleasant.That is the deceit strategy of the devil:"He tries to make You doubt God's good intentions,Presents another reality to You and uses the gratification and Pride that his 'reality'offers to cajole You to reject God and seek to deify Yourself.He also uses the pleasures that a self driven life offers to make You feel it is ideal to be without God

Gen 3:7:"And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they
sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons."As soon as the woman and her husband ate from the forbidden tree,they became self conscious:They lost sight of who they were in God and became conscious of who they were without God.And so they sought to "Cover"Themselves:They Chose to replace God with their own Glory.
Gen 3:23:"Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground
from whence he was taken."

Like I stated earlier,We can only abide in God if we allow Him to abide in Us.Man rejected God's indwelling presence and instead chose the Spirit of the serpent to live within them,So God banished Them from His world and sent them out of His presence to experience the world without God which they were taken from.

The serpent is the Wisdom(Tree)In the Midst of the world they were banished to.There is an abundance of knowledge in the world today that can show You how to improve Yourself without relying on God.There are lots of people that satan has made custodians(trees)of this knowledge and as we eat of their fruit we become base and carnal beasts who hate God i.e we bear the image of these trees.


All the religions in the world today show You how to improve Yourself without relying on Your maker.
All the world's educational systems teach about self improvement and enhancement and that is why all who attend them are interested in improving and furthering their lives in the Plane of self.All the Mystic schools of the world teach You how to attain illumination"Yourself"and how You can deify Yourself by following various techniques.These people feel that the wisdom they seek is the true wisdom that can make them wise and bring them to wholeness(Gen 3:6)
Also,There are lots of latent sinful possibilities within You and an abundance of sinful practices in the World around You that the people of the world and Satan constantly urge You to explore in order for You to fit in(Look wise)to the world.


Job 28:20-21:"Where does Wisdom come from?And where is the place of understanding?Seeing it is Hidden from the eyes of all living and kept close from the fowls of the ear."
1 Cor 1:21:"For after that in the Wisdom of God the World by its own Wisdom did not know
God,It pleased the Lord by the foolishness of preaching to save those that believe.
1 cor 2:7:"But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
2 cor 4:3:"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost
Col 2:3:"In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and
knowledge.

However what many people are unaware of is that True Wisdom cannot be found in the the midst of this Garden(World).The world by its own wisdom can never know or understand God (1 cor 2:16).The wisdom of God is hidden in Christ and the only way to discover this wisdom is by dying to the serpent(intelligence,Mind) within(the work of the Cross of Christ)and accepting Jesus Christ:The true Wisdom of God.The wisdom of God looks foolish to the arrogant because it condemns the self that they cherish so much but it is the only path to be reconciled to God,and the only way we can bear God's exalted image and be made whole.


There are 2 trees.Which do You prefer?The one that lets You determine what is good and evil based on Your beastly understanding or the one that exalts God and lets Him choose what is good and evil for You?One leads to destruction and the other leads to life.Which do You prefer?Only You can decide
